Beach seines and some ways to decrease the costs and going toward technology

Abstract:

Nets in the beach seine include some obvious parts, like Dastak, right wing, the cod and left wing. The meshes size get smaller from wings to the inside the net, the cod. In 1948, in which tractors came in this fishing method, the system of this way of fishing was changed. Transference of fishermen, fishing instruments, nets and ropes and the others improved and got faster. Also the time of shooting and hauling the net got decrease.

In spite of the fact that the tractors improved something, but they are the main reason of some problems, like air and beach sands pollution, high density and the beach sand damage resulted from these tractor’s over movements, need of experienced people using and maintaining the tractors and so on. They need fuel to move too, so they need some tanks to save fuel. The quantity of catch can not answer the costs, because of empty resources.

We know our stocks need to long rest period to recruit themselves, but still many fishermen and their families are living based on this method of fishing. So we need to offer some new and safe way to stop or decrease these heavy costs.

In the main parts of this article, after having explanation on be advantage or disadvantage of this method, I offer three new methods to improve, like stop using the tractors and introduce the hydraulic winches, power blocks, crane and trained fishermen to use them, instead of tractors.

In the first way I set the two fixed winches and two fixed power blocks. Along the rope I use some reels to decrease the rope pressure. Second way has two fixed winches, but its power blocks are moveable for their rails under. The third way is the mix of these two ways. Because I set two moveable winches and two power blocks with their rails.
